100% Completed
M-P Infrastructure Limited was awarded the contract by UNICEF Nigeria for the upgrade and construction of 4 out of 22 medical warehouses across the country. The project has been successfully completed and officially handed over. The upgraded state-of-the-art facilities, located in Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Imo, and Enugu States, are specifically designed to store critical drugs and vaccines under strict temperature and humidity control. Each warehouse is equipped with air-conditioning systems, cold room facilities, and laboratories to ensure full compliance with pharmaceutical-grade storage standards.

This effort is part of a larger initiative launched in August 2023 by UNICEF, in collaboration with the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme (NTBLCP), to upgrade 22 medical warehouses across 21 Nigerian states. The core objective of the initiative is to enhance access to medical supplies by modernising storage infrastructure to meet pharmaceutical-grade standards. The upgrades ensure the safe and efficient storage of essential medical products, directly supporting healthcare delivery across the region.
