M-P Infrastructure Limited (MPI) led the successful execution of a nationwide rollout of advanced communication infrastructure and hybrid power systems, aimed at significantly enhancing network performance, reliability, and energy efficiency across Nigeria. As part of this large-scale initiative, MPI deployed over 650 new communication tower sites, each equipped with hybrid power solutions to guarantee a stable and sustainable energy supply. Furthermore, hybrid power systems were procured, installed, and fully commissioned at 1,970 existing telecommunication tower sites, effectively replacing outdated and inefficient power sources.
To optimize site management and bolster security, MPI also designed and implemented an extensive remote monitoring system across 3,000 sites. This system integrated high-definition CCTV cameras, access control mechanisms, and fuel monitoring telemetry, enabling real-time surveillance, improved energy management, and enhanced operational visibility. Collectively, these upgrades marked a transformative step in strengthening Nigeria’s telecom infrastructure, ensuring more reliable connectivity and efficient energy use nationwide.
